Liverpool Day Out!

Hey!
I hope you are all having a lovely day! Yesterday I was supposed to be going to Blackpool Pleasure Beach with my dad... however I was way too ill to get there and to go on the rides :(. So instead we took a trip out to Liverpool... a place I had never been before, and honestly it is so pretty and a lovely place to be in!

The first thing that I loved was the accents, being in a different place with everyone speaking a different accent to you is so fascinating but strange at the same time haha! During the day I visited the docks and took a walk along the side of the river thankfully it was a lovely day! Around the docks they had super cute little ice cream vans which of course I had to buy one! There were also so many little boats you could go and explore, and a big wheel that you could go on and look over Liverpool.

Next it came to the well deserved shopping, now this is something that I love doing! There were so many shops I was literally blown away! Each shop had so many floors I didn't know where to begin! The city centre is so busy and is packed with performers singing and doing dog tricks, along with those people who stand still for such a long time! I felt like I was on holiday! (Since I did some shopping in Liverpool I will be doing a haul pretty soon on everything that I have brought!)

One of the amazing singers from the city centre:
So... that was my day in Liverpool, I just explored and shopped! I would say if you ever get the chance to visit Liverpool, its a must! Its so pretty and there are so many different things you can do... for example all the free museums, the Beatles tour and the night-life as well as so many cute looking places to eat! I will definitely be going back here soon!

I hope you enjoyed reading and I will see you all very soon!

Believe In Yourself - Book.

Hey!
I hope you are all okay and everything is going grand! When I was going through an extremely rough time though my life, someone who I have known for a long time gave me this book which is called 'believe in yourself'. When I was going through this rough time I gave this book a little glance to see if it would work. This book is basically filled with some quotes to help you believe in yourself, and at that moment in my life I have very, very little confidence. I thought I would share some of the quotes that I liked from the short book.

If you are feeling down at the moment or don't feel like you are able to achieve something this book may be something for you, as it reminds you to believe in yourself!

"Don't forget the 3 R's:
Rest, replenishment and reflection"

I really liked this quote because without all 3 you can be the best you can be, rest allows you to relax and reflection allows you too look back on what you have done and think and change anything you might not have liked to be a better version of yourself. Replenishment to nourish and help yourself!

"Don't strive to be better than others, strive to be your best self"

To me this is also very true, there is no point in competing against others, because if you do you might not always succeed, but by striving to be your best self you will never be let down, and in the end you are more likely to be happier, and there will be a sense of achievement that will last longer rather than winning over someone else which in the end for me, is a short achievement.

These are just a few of the quotes that I liked from the book that I was given. If anything has come from this post read and think about the quotes and see if they will benefit you, and how you are feeling/thinking :).

Thank you so much for reading, and please do believe in yourself, you are able to do whatever you want to achieve with that self belief, hard work and determination!

Beauty 'Would You Rather'!

Hey!
Hope you are all okay and your week is going fab! I have always wanted to do a beauty tag post, so I did some research and found a 'beauty would you rather' so I thought I would share some of my answers with you! Why not go through and answer them yourself too and see if we match or not? Let me know in the comments!

1. Not be able to accentuate your eyes, or never wax or shape your brows?
-I'm going to go with not being able to accentuate my eyes, because I feel brows shape your face much better! Plus my eyebrows grow back so quickly and look awful if I don't get them done!

2. Wear red lipstick for eternity, or wear red nail polish for eternity?
-Definitely red nail polish, I am all for having my nails red! I swear for the last couple of years my nails haven't been unpainted!

3. Win a lifetime of weekly facials, or life time of weekly body massages?
-Hands down body massages, I feel you could do facials at home to a certain extent. So definitely body massage to help me unwind and relax!

4. Bleach your eyebrows for a month, or dye your hair bright blue for a month?
-Without a doubt dye my hair bright blue! Imagine me with blonde eyebrows and dark brown hair! Noooo! Plus I think it could work around the blue hair much much easier... it would be fun to rock a colourful hair style for a while!

5. Eyebrows permanently tattooed on, or you eye-liner permanently tattooed on?
-I have so much struggle with my eyebrows so definitely them... I feel eye-shadow would be so much harder to apply if you had eye-liner tattooed on!

6. Get your teeth permanently whitened and straightened, or win a lifetime supply of your favourite skin care brand?
-For me I would probably choose the teeth whitening and straightening just because I think having brighter teeth for me would be nicer, and my skincare isn't anything expensive whereas teeth whitening and straightening is.

7. Throw away your entire make-up collection, or skincare collection?
-My make-up collection, even though I would be reaaaallly gutted skincare is so important in looking after your skin and keeping in clean, fresh and hydrated!

8. Never cut your hair again, or never dye your hair again?
-I would never dye my hair again, hmm, I mean this is a tough one because I hate my natural hair colour but at the same time keeping my hair healthy by having it cut is important. So yeah I would never dye my hair again :(.

9. Would you rather rock a coral cheek, or a pink cheek?
-I think I would have to say a pink cheek, it would pretty much go with any make-up look and outfit :).

10. Dark nails, or bright nails all year round?
-I'm all about those dark nails, and without a doubt I always wear deep colours, I never seem to opt for light ones, so this was an easy one for me!

Thank you so much for reading! Hope you all enjoyed it and you all have a wonderful week!

The Liebster Award!

Hey!
Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday! Firstly I would like to thank Eleanor for the Liebster Award! I'm so new to this and doing one these posts is super amazing!

There are rules... so I have too:
1. Link and thank the blogger who nominated me
2. Post an image of the award
3. Answer the 11 questions I was aksed
4. Link some blogs for the award
5. Create 11 questions for them to answer
6. Notify the bloggers on their award

So... shall we get started with the 11 questions Eleanor asked me?!
1. What is your fave piercing?
-Oooo I went through a massive phase when I was 16 on piercings but I have got to say my 2 lobes are my favourite but then I also like my cartilage piercing!

2. How do you picture yourself in 10 years time?
-Hopefully in a stable job and with a family, however being happy with what I am doing in 10 years is the most important, I want to be loving everything that I am doing whatever that may be! (Hopefully a mental health nurse!)

3. What is your favourite fast food?
-I'm trying to be healthier haha! Fast food is something that I do love. I do love the chicken from KFC and the chips from maccys, yum! If I had to choose a fast food place it would be McDonald's.

4. What is the scariest thing you have ever done?
-This probably isn't scary to everyone else but it was quad biking... Honestly I was petrified... Plus the worst thing I have ever done! I will never be getting back on one of those again!

5. Do you dream? Do you remember them or forget them straight away? If you remember them what is your most vivid dream?
-I'm pretty sure I do dream because I remember them when I wake up, but then they disappear as soon as I start my day and it bugs me :( The only thing I have remembered from a dream was something about Thomas The Tank Engine when I was younger... seems to have stuck with me but I cant remember the actual dream! Gah! I wish I could remember them!

6. Who is your favourite blogger?
-It definitely has to be Eleanor she is such a lovely person to talk to and her blog is super fun and exciting and she has so many different elements going on from everyday posts on her adventures to cooking and music and reviews... you need to check her out!

7. If you were stuck in a lift with someone, which celeb would you recommend? why?
-Hmmm, I really did have to think about this one,, I honestly don't know, if I had to choose I would probably pick Marina and the Diamonds, I love the music she has created plus getting to chat to her would be super super cool!

8. What book have you read recently that you would recommend? Why?
-I actually did a blog post on some of the books I was reading while on holiday a couple of weeks ago (read it here). I would recommend any book by Cathy Glass, it probably isn't to everyone's taste, but they are sooo goood! They are about children that she looks after in foster care and she talks about their issues and their situations that they are going through! Or Jennifer Niven - All The Bright Places which is about 2 friends and the issue with suicide and how they become friends. Either of these are really good reads if that is something you are into which are talking about problems happening in reality :).

9. Where would your dream holiday be?
-For a adventure holiday it would be America... Imagine all the views the memories and the adventures! And then for a relaxing 'doing nothing' holiday I would love to go too Greece or somewhere in the Caribbean!

10. Do you like musicals? Which one is your fave?
-I do enjoy a good musical, however I don't seem to watch them all that much, however my all time favourite and a good classic is Grease!

11. Which song would be your personal anthem?
-Oooo this is a tough one, because I guarantee the song I say now will change in the next week haha! But at the moment I would say James Young - Moondust. This song is amazing, ah I love it!

For my nominations I would like to nominate everyone and anyone who reads this, if you are a blogger and haven't been nominated or given the award, I nominate you. So go on get thinking for the answers to the questions below!

The 11 questions for you:
1. What was your inspiration for starting a blog?
2. Currently what is one thing you are obsessed with?
3. If you had the chance to re-write a part of your life, would you? Why?
4. What is your biggest fear?
5. What is your favourite film of all time?
6. What is your best childhood memory?
7. If you could only use one piece of social media what would it be? Why?
8. What is your guilty pleasure?
9. If there was one activity you wished you were good at, what would it be?
10. What was the inspiration behind your blog name?
11. What is your best piece of advice?

Thank you all for reading and i hoep you have a lovely week! I will speak to you all very soon!

Delicious Bella Italia!

Hey!
Hope you're all doing okay! When I passed my A-levels and got into university I had a meal celebration and I got to choose where I wanted to eat... and literally without any thought I went straight to Bella Italia... the food is delicious, the layout of the restaurant is beautiful... It was simply the place to celebrate!
Overall they decorate their stores pastel colours with retro objects... for example the one I went to had the Vespa, pastel coloured mirrors, comfy seats, Tumblr lights... the must ice-cream station (forgot to take a picture of... but its super cute!) Plus loads and loads of really cool and unique photos! Even the toilets were pretty to look at! This all around is one of the reasons I love Bella Italia... their décor.
.
Next is the food! They are Italian based so you get all the pizza, pasta, grill, salads and plenty of starters to choose from. By the way... the whole menu looks amazing, but I'm basic and I always stick to the one meal that I truly love and enjoy and that is the Pizza Marco Pollo! I mean the photo of the pizza right there... just ugh! Delicious! Now, if you love Chinese food, you are bound to love this, it is a duck pizza, however instead of tomato sauce there is the aromatic plum sauce... mmmm! There is also mozzarella and spring onions!
Simply delicious! This is by far my ultimate favourite meal.

If you ever pass a Bella Italia why not go in and check out the menu I am pretty sure there is something in there for everyone! The only downside is the price, it is a little expensive so I don't always get to eat here... only when I can persuade my parents hehe... (most times :P)

What's your favourite restaurant? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all have a lovely week and I will speak to you very soon!

Butterball Ballistic!

Hey!
Its Monday... the dreaded day of the week, but I hope it has been good for you. Today I have done so much and now I am completely exhausted! When I'm exhausted, worn out and tired I usually take a bath... and my most loved bath 'ballistic' right now is by Lush and it's the 'Butterball'.

Cost = £2.65
Link = https://www.lush.co.uk/products/butterball
Label description (photo right) = "Run yourself the perfect temperature bath, get in, then take a moment to let go of the world outside your bathroom, before launching your ballistic into the water and watch it fizz away"
Without a doubt this is my ultimate bath ballistic. It is very simple and plain and possibly one that's overlooked, but what it does for your body and mood is incredible.

The little bits within the bath bomb are cocoa butter pieces which once let out and melted sooth dry skin (it is also suitable for sensitive and irritated skin - I have eczema and it doesn't bother my skin at all like other Lush products do). The cocoa butter makes the skin smooth and hydrated!

There is also an essential oil "Ylang Ylang" which on their website claims to be used in aromatherapy to treat stress and depression, plus relaxing the nervous system to relieve anger, panic and fear. I honestly believe that this bath ballistic does make my mood lift and I become happier... a must if you are feeling in a bad mood or have had a bad day at work or school!

Why not pop down to your local lush store or order it online and give it a go... you might be surprised! What are your favourite lush products? I would love to know so I could check them out... Let me know in the comments! :D

Thank you all for reading, and I will see you very soon!

Holiday Haul!

Hey!
Welcome back, and after a few weeks in the sun relaxing I am back and ready to start uploading posts on my blog which I am super excited about! Today I will be showing you some of the items I brought while I was on holiday (3 main purchases)! Gran Canaria is such a beautiful place and in all honesty all I did was sunbathe, go out for a meal and relax for most of the days... because that is literally what I needed!

1. Pink headphones and pink and sunglasses sunglasses...

Headphones: Pink KitSound Headphones - Malibu
-They are super cute and comfortable to wear, along with that they are fold-able (the ear parts fold into the part that sits on the top of your head) which makes them easy to travel with and they literally don't take up much space!

I couldn't find them on their website however they can be found on places like Amazon (pink) = at the moment is £10 here. Also Debenhams (pink) = £10 here. They are super affordable! Plus there are other colours available if you don't want pink just search Malibu KitSound headphones :).

Sunglasses
I simply brought these sunglasses from a stall in Gran Canaria, I love the shape! They are basically fake Ray-Bans! Plus I got them in pink to match the headphones :D!

2. Artwork

I literally cannot remember how these were created or how much they were, but being a lover of art work and doing art at A-Levels I fell in love with these 2 they are bright and colourful but at the same time they hold a lot of detail. One being of a sunset behind the palm trees and the other being a dolphin jumping out of the water!

3.Perfume... A must!
Marc Jacobs - Daisy
If there is one perfume I love to death, and one I use everyday and will probably never stop using is Marc Jacobs - Daisy Eau So Fresh which is just super light and fresh and not overpowering, just a  lovely everyday perfume!

Since I love this perfume I decided to buy a tiny pack of 4 perfumes... honestly they are sooooo cute!
(Left - Right)
1. Marc Jacobs = Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet
2. Marc Jacobs = Daisy
3. Marc Jacobs = Daisy Eau So Fresh
4. Marc Jacobs = Daisy Sorbet
I havent really used the other 3 scents so I'm not 100% sure if I like them as I haven't tried them on my skin... however a quick sniff of each and they are really nice! The Sorbets smelling sweet and fresh with a slight floral scent. The other which is the original which smells a bit fruity but not as sweet or as light and fresh.

I'm pretty sure you can busy these perfumes from your local supermarket/fragrance or beauty store they are super well known! Let me know in the comments if you have any and if you like them!

Thank you all for reading and I hope you are all having a good summer holiday! If you have been anywhere nice I hoped you picked up some goodies that you can use and treasure. See you all soon!

Results Day!

Hey!
I'm back from holiday now (which was super fun and will be doing some posts soon). But today was results day... and for most of us students awaiting our A-Level results and uni applications it has been one stressful morning!

I am pleased to say I got into my firm choice of university to study mental health nursing! I was even more pleased with the grades I achieved:
Health and Social = A*A
Art = B
Psychology = C

I wish and hope that everyone got the grades you were after and if you are going to uni you got your firm choice! If you are going to to do an apprenticeship or a job or taking a gap year, I hope there is good news there too and everything has worked out for you! If you wish, let me know how you did in the comments and what you are going on to do... I would love to know!

See you all soon
