Quick Fix Facials!

Hey!
Hows your week going? So far today everything has gone wrong for me haha so I've come here to relax and de-stress! Over the past few weeks I have been searching for an affordable face mask, which is where I stumbled across 'Quick Fix Facials'. They are a really affordable brand which is available in boots for £4.99 per bottle (on offer at the moment for 3 for 2... win!).
Boots: http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Brands-A-to-Z/Quick-Fix-Facials/
There are 6 to choose from (Anti-Blemish Mud, Mega Moisture Mask, Brightening Peel Mask, Exfoliating Scrub Mask, Calming Clay Mask and Purifying Charcoal Mask).
The two that I use the most are the moisture mask and the charcoal mask. To say the least I have fallen in love, they help my skin in different ways. For example the charcoal mask I use on my T-Zone as it is perfect for removing all the dirt/toxins out of my skin after a long day and then the moisture mask around the rest of my face to let my skin feel healthier and full of moisture. I tend to use these around twice a week at the moment as my skin needs it, each bottle states it has up to 10 uses, however depending on how often and how much you use it can vary.

So, what's in them?
Mega Moisture = hyaluronic acid for hydration, vitamin E for full of antioxidants and finally marine collagen which helps the skin retain moisture. (The smell isn't bad but its quite sweet/fresh together something that definitely took me a while to get used to)

Charcoal Mask = active charcoal for clearing pores and removing toxins and impurities, dragon fruit for vitamin C for promoting moisture and radiance of the skin and cinnamon extract to help clarify the skin. (Personally I can smell the cinnamon in the mask, I suggest smelling it before trying it as the smell might be a little overwhelming but I liked it)

Overall if you want a drug store mask that it affordable and is kind and works good on the skin then definitely give these a try I highly recommend it :). Thank you for reading, if you have any other face masks which work a treat I would love to know, jot them down in the comments :). Hope you all have a wonderful day/night and I'll be back soon.

Meeting Connor Franta!

Hey!
On the 25/05/2015 something surreal happened. I met Connor Franta! Someone I had been watching for years now, and someone I had always wanted to meet! He is only getting bigger and better both on his YouTube channel and other projects. The effort that goes into the work and the dedication he has is inspiring and the content he creates, is well simply creative. With the release of 'A Work In Progress' and a book tour in the UK... this was the perfect time to meet him. Me and my friends managed to get close to the front of the queue, and (hour waiting) and 40 minutes later I met Connor.

He is genuinely one of the nicest people I have met to date and so welcoming so having the chance to meet him was amazing and I will be forever thankful that he flew all the way to the UK to meet so many of us! A complete week of travelling around the UK simply to meet and sign as many books as possible. A Work In Progress (memoir) is a brilliant book detailing so many different elements and factors, and a must have in your collection :). If you've never heard of him before go and check out his YouTube channel (the videos I love are 'A Simple Question' and 'Life Doesn't Wait' and 'Say Anything Challenge' in all honesty I love all the videos he's created). He is so genuine and honest in what he does and says which is probably a reason why so many people follow and support him so much.

2 Little Quotes

Hey!
Today  I thought I would share with you two little quotes that I always turn to when I'm feeling down, or I need a little bit of motivation. A very simple post, but something that I think is nice idea to have. These are perfect for display, they are placed in flowers on my tabletop so I tend to see them most day's to remind myself to keep going.

"Follow your heart anything is possible". If you want something so much, go for it, don't let anyone stop you, do what makes you happy and if that's following your heart go for it. Just think of all possibilities and what you can achieve with your life and follow that dream you have!

"Cherish yesterday, dream about tomorrow, live for today". Another nice quote to live by, Never forget what you have and how you are lucky to have stuff other people don't so cherish it, then dream about tomorrow you never know what is around the corner. More importantly live for today, that's the moment that you are living in, so live it and enjoy it the most you can.

Thank you for reading, if you have any quotes that you like and wish to share place them below in the comments I would love to see them :-). Hope you all have a wonderful day/night and I'll be back soon.

Favourite Contour Products!

Hey! I haven't posted in so long due to 6th form, but I'm back with another post, this time doing my favourite contour products. I am very pale which means finding a contour shade is difficult as I dont want to look orange. As well as this I hate shimmer in the areas that you need to contour/bronze in.
So I managed to dig out some of my favourite contour powders from my collection that work just right for my pale skin!

1. Body Shop = Honey Bronze, Bronzing Powder - £13.00
This is slightly more expensive for a contour/bronzer product however it is worth the money. (Alternative cheaper one below) I know its called a bronzing powder however I do feel it does the job for contouring too. They do 4 shades from light to dark, I decided to go for the shade 03 medium, even though I am pale I wanted something with a bit more colour. Its a matte finish which is perfect and doesn't leave you looking like a glitter ball! Iv'e had this product for around 7 months and I am no where near to hitting pan, which shows the value for money. Overall the texture of it is great, it is easy to blend out because the product is nice and soft, and is great for people with pale skin!

2. Sleek - Bronze Block - £7.79 (Superdrug)
Another 'bronzing' product that I find works well for contouring on such pale skin :-). It comes in two different varieties light or dark. It includes 3 darker powders for contouring/bronzing ranging from light to dark shades with a slight shimmer but nothing excessive. It also comes with a blush which is a lovely shimmery pink. A perfect block! It is great for travel as it has most off the stuff that you need for your face definition. Just like the body shop bronzer it is easy to blend, and is suited for light skin if you buy the lighter block. For both of the products I use the Real Techniques Contour brush which is perfect for getting into the smaller areas of your face.

Turning Photos into Polaroids!

Hey!
I have always wanted to own a polariod camera or have my photos made into polaroids, I could never afford a polaroid camera and never found a decent site to trust with sending my photos until the other week...
Square snaps is a website that allows you to get your photos turned into polaroids (there are also other photo options too). When using the website it is easy and simple to follow you can choose photos from Instagram or on your computer, a bonus really as many other websites I found didn't let me choose them from my computer. The minimum amount of photos (for polaroids) is 27 for £9.99 then the rest are 37p each. All together I ordered around 90 photos for just under £40. Seems expensive I know, but is much cheaper than a Polaroid camera!
The quality of the photos are honestly amazing, they are thick and glossy and sturdy which means you get what you paid for. It took them roughly 3-4 days to arrive as they get to work as soon as possible after the order is put in... Very good service! When they were delivered they were packed up well which shows a they are a trusted website and your photos wont get damaged in the post.
If you ever want somewhere to turn photos into polaroids I would certainly recommend you to check out square snaps!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you all have a wonderful day! I hope this was some what useful or just a nice read, hopefully I will see you next time! If you have any extra questions about my order and my polaroid photos leave them in the comments, I will be happy to help and try my best to answer them. :)

Mac - Face and Body Foundation Review

Hey!
For my first make-up review I will be starting off with my most loved foundation of all time. This is the mac Face and Body Foundation. I am in the shade C3 with is also known as 'Cool 3' which is a yellow toned foundation which for me hides the redness on my cheeks perfectly. I picked up this nifty foundation for £21.50 in a Mac counter (also accessible at Selfridges)... Yes a slight gasp at the price but it is worth it. It gives a wonderful glow to the skin in a light -medium coverage, as the product is easy to build up. Even though I state it is low in coverage it evens out my skin tone to a nice base to apply the rest of my make-up afterwards.

One of the perks of using this 'foundation' is it can be used anywhere on the body! A perfect foundation to use if you're on holiday or hot weather or if you feel like a blemish needs toning down. I have been using this foundation for around 8 months and I have never been disappointed. I have always come back to this foundation when trying out cheaper ones at the drug-store. I would honestly recommend this foundation if you are looking for something that has low-medium coverage and feels very light on the face. I think it is perfect for an everyday school look if you're trying to get away with little make-up or if you want to enhance the glow of your face. It is very simple and easy to apply since the formula is runny and needs less work and perfection when applying. I either use a damp beauty blender or the buffing brush from the real techniques core collection set.

When getting the product out of the bottle it allows you to squeeze as much product as you want or as little product as you want. Also meaning you wont be wasting any excess product and you will be getting your moneys worth at the end of the bottle.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you all have a wonderful day! I hope this was some what useful or just a nice read, hopefully I will see you next time!

Happy New Year!

Hello! Welcome back, It's another year. I cannot believe how quickly 2014 has come and gone. So much has happened over the past year. I just wanted to say hope you all have had an amazing year in 2014 and I hope 2015 brings something spectacular for you. There is so much to look forward to so I thought why not review my year and explain my resolutions/goals for 2015!

So, 2014 what did it bring?
So many amazing things happened in 2014 as well as some that aren't so great, but lets focus on the positive things for now! Firstly I managed to pass my driving test, 8 months of hard work had paid off! Along with that I managed to pass my AS results which is giving me a good chance of getting into university, I also managed to visit one of the places I had always wanted it go which was Paris. The place was truly amazing and beautiful I wish I could just move out there! Most importantly this year has allowed friendships to grow stronger and allowed me to become closer to my family, this is something that I couldn't be more grateful and happy for, so many amazing memories were made and I will be able to cherish them forever!

So, 2015, what are my goals/resolutions?
1. Drink more water - I drink no where near the amount that I should, this needs to change, hopefully it will improve my skin to some extent, (also by starting a new skincare routine).
2. Start and continue this blog. I wanted to add something else to my everyday life that wasn't just 'school work' so I've started this goal and will continue to do it throughout!
3. Keep healthy, I know this is what everyone says, but I've already started the gym by having a personal trainer I now need to keep healthy with the food I eat!
4. Get good grades, this is more of a goal, getting the grades means I can go to university, plus I'm working hard so hopefully it will all pay off.
5. Finally be more positive, instead of seeing the bad in everything I will be aiming to see the good in everything!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you all have a wonderful day! Why not share something amazing that happened to you in 2014 and a new years resolution or goal that you might have for this year in the comments, hopefully I will see you next time!
